Responsibilities

• Be a key contributor to developing cutting-edge software
• Participate as a key team member, providing innovation, learning and insight to the group's activities
• Develop, code, test, and demonstrate new Java enterprise applications
• Create Design models, perform code reviews, provide input to QA testplans
• Provide open feedback on the product and development process, and how we can improve
• Build on your experience and new learning by sharing with the group in ongoing "brown-bagger" R&D innovation sessions
• Working with product management to define and develop the product
• Our development environment includes Java, Web Application Servers, scripting languages, AJAX, build management and versioning tools on Linux, Mac, and Windows platforms.

Must Have's

• 5+ years professional experience with Java
• 1+ years professional experience with EXTjs
• 1+ years professional experience with Flex Charts, BlazeDS
• MySQL and Oracle DB RDBMS experience
• Linux CentOS, Redhat, Ubuntuu or similar experience
• TDD and Junit experience
• Agile XP/Scrum, Lean methodologies + User Stories requirements experience
• Teamcity or similar experience
• SVN, Git or similar experience
• Maven experience
• ORM, Hibernate experience
• Caching experience e.g. Coherence, EHCache or similar
• Web Services Restful, SOAP/WSDL experience
• Tomcat, Apache experience
• OOAD, UML, Design Patterns, Agile Modelling, DMDD or similar experience
• Database Design and Data Modelling
• Enterprise Integration Frameworks expereince leveraging ESB, JMS, ServiceMix, Mule, Apache MQ or similar
• Cloud Architecture experience e.g AMZ EC2, Rackspace Cloud, GoGrid cloud or similar
• Minimum BSc (or equivalent)
